    Tennis Facilities

    There are 5 well-maintained courts of artificial grass with quartz sand and 3 padel courts, located in the centre of the Hotel Jardin Tecina’s grounds. Our tennis office is situated directly at the courts, beside the reception. In addition, three padel and two squash courts are available for use.

    Resort Location

    The 4* Hotel Jardin Tecina is located on a cliff plateau 50 metres above the ocean on the southeast coast of La Gomera. It has wonderful panoramic views across the Atlantic Ocean to the neighbouring island of Tenerife. The pebble beach and the hotel’s own Beach Club Laurel can be reached by lift The village centre of Playa de Santiago is about 700m away. Transfer time to Tenerife South Airport, including ferry crossing, is about 120 minutes.

    Resort Facilities

    This well-maintained hotel resort has 434 rooms contained in several houses grouped extensively around a main building. In the main building you will find a lobby area with reception, a main restaurant, two a-la-carte restaurants, three bars, a cafeteria, TV room, internet station (additional charge), card-playing room, boutique, hairdressing salon and a mini supermarket. WiFi access is free of charge in the whole resort.
    Within the extensive hotel grounds are three freshwater pools and children’s pool, two whirlpools, sun terraces with free loungers, cushions, towels and parasols, as well as a pool and snack bar. The Beach Club Laurel has a seawater pool, sun terrace with free beds and parasols, a chill-out zone with Balinese beds, a pool and snack bar and the Club Laurel restaurant and trattoria.

    The following room categories are available for booking:
    The modern and tastefully decorated double rooms are situated in the lower level with outdoor terrace or on the first floor with balcony and garden views. They are equipped with bathroom with bathtub and integrated shower, hairdryer, air conditioning, minibar, telephone, rental safe and flat screen satellite TV. Rooms with side or direct sea views or for single use are bookable for a surcharge.
    The junior suites are equipped as per the double rooms, and have additionally a separate living/reception room with seating corner and sleeping area, a welcome drink, bathrobes and a coffee/tea maker.
    The new and roomy duplex suites for a maximum of 4 guests (from 16 years-old) are spread over two floors and have two entrances. The lower floor contains a bedroom and bathroom, as well as an outside terrace. The upper floor has a living/bedroom with double bed, sofa and table, a bathroom with shower and WC and a roof terrace with pergola, sun loungers and lovely views. Guests in the duplex suites have exclusive access to a pool with sun terrace and Balinese beds.
    The family rooms for max. 4 guests are equipped as per the double rooms, but have four single beds, two bathrooms and bathrobes. Rooms with side or direct sea views can be booked for an additional charge.
    The very large superior family rooms are built in a maisonette style and also bookable for up to 4 guests. They are equipped as per the family rooms, but additionally with a sofa, an iPod docking station and coffee/tea maker. Rooms on the pool side, the golf course side or side sea views are bookable.

    Sport and Entertainment

    Free-of-charge activities include table tennis, sport entertainment, beach volleyball and a fitness room.
    For an additional charge you have access to two squash courts, three padel courts and crazy golf course. Various water sports and bicycle rental are available from local vendors. The 18-hole Tecina Golf course is located directly beside the hotel grounds. Hotel guests receive a discount on the green fees.

    The hotel’s wellness area is accessible to over-16 year-olds for an additional fee. It has a Finnish sauna, various massage therapies and beauty treatments on offer.

    For your evening entertainment there is an amphitheatre with shows and live music, as well as a discotheque.

    Children are well served with a separate pool, a splash pool, a playground and a playroom in the hotel. There is a miniclub for 4-12 year-olds and a “Maxiclub” for teenagers. The minidisco ensures a lively end to the evening. Babysitting service available upon demand for an additional charge.
