    Tennis Facility

    Excellent tennis conditions on 7 clay courts with floodlights, located in the sports area directly within the resort. The tennis facility includes a small tennis bar. Sunball offers an extensive weekly program with tennis training for all skill levels and guest tournaments.

    Location

    The Maritim Resort Calabria is located in the southernmost part of Italy, in the Calabria region, by the Ionian Sea. The resort belongs to the village of Villapiana and is located directly at the beach. The surrounding area offers interesting opportunities for ancient sightseeing. The Lamezia Terme Airport is approximately 140 km away (transfer time 1.5 hours).

    Facilities

    The modern resort was newly built in March 2019 as Aldiana Club Calabria and was taken over by the German hotel chain Maritim Hotels in 2025. Guests are offered a wide range of high-quality options to spend a relaxing and active vacation. The facilities include spacious pool areas, a children’s pool area with a water slide, and an indoor sports pool (half Olympic size). In the spa area, no relaxation wishes are left unfulfilled. In addition to various massage and treatment options (for a fee), you will find 2 saunas, a hydrotherapy pool, steam bath, plunge pool, Jacuzzi, Kneipp foot bath, experience showers, salt cabin, and a relaxation room. In total, there are 374 rooms spread across three-story buildings. The following room categories are available: Standard rooms (26m²), Superior rooms (34m²), Junior suites (41m²), and Family rooms (61m²).

    Meals

    The resort offers all-inclusive catering. This includes all meals in the main restaurant in buffet form, pizzeria, and specialty restaurant (for a fee). A wide selection of included alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages is served to you in the restaurants and bars.

    Sports and Entertainment

    In addition to the 7 tennis courts, a state-of-the-art fitness center with training equipment and a broad range of classes is available. Furthermore, the club offers water sports, archery, beach volleyball, soccer, cross-boccia, speedminton, table tennis, and darts. The resort provides an exciting and creatively designed entertainment program with evening shows. For children, the kids’ club offers varied programs throughout the day, divided into different age groups. A baby service is also available.
