Tennis Facilities
The pleasant hard court with synthetic coating is centrally located on the island, amidst the tropical garden. Look forward to training sessions in a dreamlike setting with our Sunball coach.
Location
Velassaru Maldives is located at the northern edge of the South Malé Atoll. The paradise island is 400m long and 200m wide, surrounded by a white natural beach. The international airport is only 12km away. The transfer is done by boat and takes about half an hour.
Resort Facilities
The resort, opened in 2009 and completely renovated in 2018, offers relaxation and enjoyment at a 5-star level. 129 excellently equipped accommodations are spread across overwater bungalows, beachside bungalows, and villas. Many units feature private pools. All accommodations include a combined living/sleeping area, bathroom/toilet, sofa, air conditioning, ceiling fan, coffee maker, kettle, bathrobe, hairdryer, TV, and terrace with sun loungers. A stunning infinity pool invites you to sunbathe with ocean views. The island’s own wellness and beauty center pampers you with treatments and relaxation options from around the world as well as a steam bath. Complimentary Wi-Fi internet access is available throughout the entire resort.
Catering
Velassaru Maldives is available with the option of breakfast, half board, full board, or all-inclusive meal plans. Five excellent restaurants offer delights of local, Asian, and international cuisine at the highest level. Additionally, two stylish lounge bars are available for relaxation.
Sport & Unterhaltung
The resort offers a good selection of activities, especially water sports. You can explore the fantastic underwater world of the South Malé Atoll through diving and snorkeling. Additionally, there is a well-equipped fitness center available. Pleasant animation programs, evening events, and themed nights complement the offerings. Children are also warmly welcome!
