Sunball operates in cooperation with the Ploumis Academy in the fantastic and newly constructed (2022) Nana Tennis Sports Club. This tennis facility consists of 13 artificial red clay courts (identical characteristics to natural red clay), 5 acrylic hard courts (professional US Open hard-court surface with joint-friendly coating) and 3 padel courts, some with sea views. The facility also has a large modern clubhouse with tennis shop and comfortable lounge.

The Nana Golden Beach is located directly by the sea in a beautiful sandy bay. The sea floor under the water at the beach can be rocky, so bathing shoes are recommended. Chersonisos is about 2km away and the airport of Heraklion about 25km.

This spacious high-class hotel resort has a lovely village character. 500 attractively furnished residential units for 1-5 guests are contained within low-rise buildings spread over the resort grounds. All rooms have bathroom/shower and WC, satellite TV, telephone, safe, hairdryer and free Wi-Fi access (available throughout the whole resort). The hotel has a total of 9 pools as well as a fantastic aqua park with spectacular slides. In its wellness area there is an adults-only pool, a sauna and steam bath, and massages and all kinds of beauty treatments. In addition, there is a souvenir shop, jewellery, hairdresser and minimarket onsite.

Nana Golden Beach is an all-inclusive resort. Guests have a choice of 9 restaurants, which include the main buffet restaurant and various specialty restaurants offering Greek, Mediterranean, Italian and Asian cuisine. In the specialty restaurants guests enjoy à la carte meals from a menu. These restaurants require a reservation but are otherwise included in your hotel booking. A large choice of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks from 11am to 12.45am in all bars and restaurants is included in the booking price.

The resort offers a wide variety of activities such as beach volleyball, canoeing, paddle boats, billiards, a PADI diving school (additional charge), windsurfing (additional charge) and golf classes at the “Crete Golf” course (additional charge). Active guests enjoy optimal training conditions with an excellently equipped fitness studio and sport pool. In the evenings there is an atmospheric entertainment programme at the resort’s amphitheatre. For children there is a playground and a kids’ club for 3–12-year-olds.
